The Lak are a Jat (clan) found in Punjab, Pakistan.
The Lak claim descent from the Panwar Rajputs. They were originally found alongs the banks of the Chenab river, but were outsted by the Sikhs in the 18th Century from this region. They are now found mainly in Sargodha District, with few communities in Faisalabad, Sahiwal and Multan Districts.[1] The Lak claim descent from the Parmara Rajputs.
